Alexey Kvaratskhelia

Was born May 11, 1946 in Gali, Georgia. 1967 - finished art school in Sukhumi. Same year - enrolled to Tbilisian Academy of Arts. 1972 - finished the Academy (master - V. I. Shukhaev).

Since 1974 participated in many exhibitions at Sukhumi, Tbilisi, Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, also at Germany, Italy, Greece, Sweden, and other countries. Many of his works are in museums and private collections at Sukhumi, Tbilisi, Moscow, also in France, Germany, Austria, Israel, Finland, U.S.A., Italy, Greece, Sweden and other countries.

Since 1985 - member of the USSR Union of Artists.

Now active in St.Petersburg.
